. . . . .
I haven’t made paper windmills since I was 7. I was making dinner at Matt’s parents house. We decided to have an at home “come dine with me” competition and it was my turn to cook. I wanted to decorate the tables with something interesting and I decided to substitute a traditional flower centerpiece with paper windmills, I think I got the idea from a wedding style magazine. The table setting won me great reviews however my menu left much to be desired and I lost the competition. The next day Matt and I went out to a field near Monchique in the Algarve to take some photographs featuring my windmills. Also to experiment with a new flash we had recently purchased.
