We loved photographing this wedding at Casa Viscondes de Varzea in the Douro Valley, surrounded by amazing vineyards and vistas. The wedding celebration took place over a few days with family and friends enjoying the holiday get away in sunny Portugal.
The celebrations kicked off the day before the wedding with a scenic Douro river cruise. There was lots of wine and lots of Irish singing as the guests cruised around beautiful riverside vineyards.
On the Wedding day, preparations began in the early morning. The picturesque outdoor ceremony took place next to the small chapel on a hilltop, with wonderful new and old traditions. A gospel band from the UK led the newlyweds and guests in song throughout the ceremony and through the reception.
The party continued late in the evening with sparklers and fireworks and lots and lots of dancing!
