This autumn, we had the pleasure of photographing a truly unforgettable destination engagement proposal along the dramatic cliffs of the Algarve in Portugal. Moments filled with emotion, wild beauty, and quiet intimacy.
The proposal took place high above the Atlantic Ocean, on the Algarve’s iconic cliffs, where the coastline stretches endlessly in both directions. With vast views over the sea and rugged rock formations below, the setting felt epic and cinematic.
Autumn brought a moody romance to the landscape: powerful waves crashing against the cliffs, salty air, and soft light filtering through passing clouds. It was raw, emotional, and incredibly atmospheric, The perfect backdrop for a once in a lifetime moment.
As the waves thundered below, the proposal unfolded in complete privacy. The wind, the movement of the sea, and the sheer scale of the landscape created a sense of timelessness. After the proposal, we continued the engagement session down on the beach. The mood shifted beautifully from epic to intimate. Barefoot in the sand, the couple laughed, played, and simply enjoyed being present together.
