A Beach Bar Party
The celebration continued on a golden Algarve afternoon at a laid back beach bar, where a live band set the tone for an amazing night. Guests sipped cocktails while the warm Portuguese sun dipped lower, painting the sky in shades of pink and gold. A dream setting for candid, natural photographs on the beach, a perfect impromptu engagement session!
A Garden Welcome Dinner
The wedding weekend began with a relaxed dinner, where the family and friends gathered at a beautiful outdoor garden restaurant. Strings of lights twinkled overhead as guests enjoyed a warm, intimate atmosphere that makes destination weddings in Portugal so unforgettable.
When you imagine a wedding in Portugal’s Algarve, you might think of golden beaches, warm ocean breezes, and evenings filled with music under the stars. For Sophie and Andrew, their three day wedding celebration was all of that and more! A beautiful blend of classic elegance and rustic chic style. As their wedding photographer in the Algarve, we had the privilege of capturing every sun-drenched moment, from seaside welcome drinks to the unforgettable dancefloor on their wedding night.
The Wedding Day at Os Agostos
The wedding day itself was set at Os Agostos, a converted olive press farm turned bohemian luxury venue in the Algarve, with rustic architecture and elegant terraces.
The morning began with a splash as the boys cooled down poolside. And a pop as the girls popped open the champagne in the soft glow of the bridal suite.
After the “I do’s,” everyone gathered on the terrace for cocktails, laughter, and live music. As the sun dipped toward the horizon, we stole away for golden hour portraits. The light wrapping the couple in a warm glow, turning every frame into something magical.
Then came the reception. An exhilarating entrance, heartfelt speeches, and a crazy fun dance floor led by an incredible live band!
As a destination wedding photographer in Portugal, weekends like this are amazing. The Algarve offers the perfect mix of sun, scenery, and celebration, and Os Agostos is one of the most wonderful venues to host it all.
