We met up with Dasha and Nick on Cabanas beach in the western Algarve for a babymoon session. It was a perfect evening for a stroll along the coast and a an adventure exploring the cliffs and the rocky coves. The pair often visit Portugal and this is one of their favourite spots to relax and have fun. It was wonderful to capture some glowing moments between the pair as they are expecting the new addition to their family. Soon they will be three and having a new adventure in the Algarve together!

We love photographing on this beach, it is always so different and unpredictable. At times, the tide is so far in the only beach is a tiny sliver of powdery sand and pebbles. Other times, with the tide far out, you can walk for miles exploring beaches as far as Salema.
For this session we used our new mirrorless Canon camera. We are so excited to work with it, experimenting with creating short films to compliment the photography for our future shoots.
