Dominika and Romulo’s destination wedding in Poland last summer was one of the wonderful highlights of our wedding season! We love Poland and have traveled there a few times before, but haven’t been in such a long time we were so excited to finally go on an another adventure to this amazing place.
The bride and groom are avid travellers and love exploring, they both reside in the U.S but Romulo is Brazilian and Dominika Polish. Originally they had planned their destination wedding to take place in Zakopane, a magic picturesque mountain-side ski town in Poland. But with lots of family and friends in Warsaw, the final decision was to get married at a gorgeous cherry farm, Stodola Czeresniowy Sad, just outside of the city, near Konstancin-Jeziorna, an amazing little place a short drive south.
The ceremony was outdoors in the orchard while the reception took place in a converted barn on the property. Dominika and Romulo are two of the loveliest people, so much fun and very care free, creative and loving. Dominika designed and made the white flower wall that was part of the reception decor and the pink champagne waterfall.
The cherry farm was a large property and we explored the grounds in the evening near sunset. Dominka loved showing off her gorgeous and very long vail, it was the crown jewel of her stunning wedding gown. After sunset the party started with lots of dancing to the music from the Folk Band Show, lots of toasts and shots with bottles of Vodka at every table, and countless dinner courses, all part of the Polish wedding tradition!
We are so excited to share some moments from their wedding and relive the time we spent in Poland.
