The evening before the wedding…

The evening kicked off with some cocktails for the guests and a mini portrait session of the bride and groom to be, Roshni and Calum. The autumn evening was refreshed by a little rain and the rooftop of the Tovoli Carveiro Hotel was the perfect spot to capture the excitement and anticipation shared by the pair for the day to follow – the wedding day.
In the party room the hanna artist was busy at work creating beautiful designs as family and friends of the bride and groom mingled and got to know each other, some meeting for the first time. The room was filled with love and wonderful aromas wafting in from the kitchen, where the chefs from Passage to India were preparing a small feast.
The guests gathered for speeches made by the best women and men of the bridal party, spilling secrets, anecdotes and wonderfully sweet stories of the bride and groom.
There was a surprise performance by the groom and his brother & best man, performing Taylor Swift’s pop classic “Shake it Off”! These were rehearsed in secret for months prior to the wedding and were executed with so much love and fun. The performance received rapturous applause and requests for an encore!
The evening continued with whiskey tasting, honouring Calumn’s Scottish roots – no doubt there was some Highland dancing before the night was over.
