Thalia and Daniel held their intimate wedding in the Algarve, atop a cliff overlooking the sea. It was a beautiful day that started off in Lagos, at Casa Mae, a relaxing spa ideal for the days preparations. Thalia and Daniel spent the morning in the heirloom room getting ready. It was a perfect day with puffy white clouds and sunshine rays bouncing off the orange rooftops of Lagos.
A short drive away was a traditional Portuguese Quinta with a field that stretched out to the sea. At the end of the cliff is a clearing and that’s where Thalia and Daniel’s friends and family set up a ceremony alter adorned with flowers and feathers and a couple of rows of benches. It was a perfect Algarve destination wedding for this Canadian pair.
Following the ceremony we explored the clifftops together beyond the venue and ventured down small dirt paths that opened up to great vistas overlooking the sea.
A long picnic table was decorated back at the Quinta where this intimate party would dine under the full moon and festoon lights. There was an ice-cream cart to keep the guests cool on this hot summer evening and an acoustic guitar player to set the mood.
