Gale beach is one of our favourite places and it’s where we met Emma and Phil for their engagement shoot. In the summer this place is crammed with tourists, it’s crazy, but in March, save for a few locals walking their dogs and a couple of surfers, we had this place to ourselves.
Although we’ve been here so many times it’s always different, the light shimmering on the surf, the shapes of the yellow sandstone and the green and purple hues in the sky from the winter light is always beautiful.
As the sun goes down we started to notice the cool breeze from the Atlantic. Summer’s on its way and the wedding season is fast approaching, can’t wait for Emma & Phil’s.

. . .Emma and Phil are both from northern England. They will be getting married this summer in Portugal. We’re excited to see them again in June for their destination wedding at Pine Cliffs. xo
