In June, during the first week of summer, we packed our gear into the car and headed on a road trip to Spain. Joy and Brian’s wedding was comming up in a few days and we were supper excited. We had our trusted tom-tom with co-ordinates plugged in and we were off! We took the route through Seville and into the Spanish mountains. Benahavis, a little mountain side village was our destination. On the way we passed endless fields of sun flowers, it was a breathtaking site. Once we reached the mountains the road kept climbing and climbing…and then we heard… “you have reached your destination” ….we were in the middle of no where, no actually we were on a road with “military restricted area” signs! We realised the tom-tom had let us down. So we backtracked and found our destination the old fashioned way, road signs and maps. We weren’t miles away and the drive was so picturesque, we finally arrived at dusk.
The following day we met Joy and Brian for their engagement session. They were so fun and quirky we had the best time exploring Benahavis with them. Brian was the biggest dog lover I had ever met. He befriended every dog that was out on a walk! But there was one in particular, it must have been love at first sight, they became instantaneous best friends, it was super cute!
