We meet up with Lauren and Shaun for the first time on a Monday afternoon, just a few days before they were to tie the knot and become Mr. & Mrs. It was a moment long anticipated as Lauren came across our photography what now seems ages ago…(well it was about a year and a half ago, but those were the very early days of matt+lena photography) We had corresponded back and forth for so long that when we met up it felt like she was a friend I haven’t seen in a while. We took a small road trip to Ferragudo, A little fishing village on the western end of the Algarve. It was such a beautiful day and we had the best time photographing the two of them.
