Tavira lies near the Spanish border on the south east part of Portugal. It’s a beautiful town with a rich history. Michael and Tiffany fell in love with Taviras rustic old town streets, bridges and churches with clock towers years ago while on holiday. They decided to have their destination wedding there with their family and friends flying in from Ireland, and the U.S.
Just two days before the wedding we met up with them to photograph their engagement session as we walked around this pretty town. Their guests have already started to arrive for the wedding and many of them were out and about exploring the small town of Tavira, so they kept bumping into their friends and saying ‘hello’, it seemed like they knew the whole town and the place was their neighbourhood, it was very sweet.
