. . . . .
As artists we need to fuel our imagination and creativity, so new experiences and adventures are a priority for us.
2013 has been an amazing year. Firstly it has been a year of big change.
We got married! Yes we tied the knot, Mr & Mrs. We had our ceremony on the beach in Alvor, but the actual document stuff was done in Gibraltar, same place as John & Yoko (fun fact!)
We moved to the Algarve. We always took our vacations here and loved it, it’s a beautiful place to live and lots of people from colder parts of the world like to get married here.
We quit our ‘Old Jobs’ and started our wedding photography business. We know and love photography, it’s our passion, it feels odd to call it a “business”, as we know very little about business. What we did know at the start, was that we wanted to put everything of ourselves into the photography we we’re giving to our clients. We love what we do. Pushing a mediocre product was not an option for us.
2014 is looking great, we are already nearly fully booked, with weddings all over the Algarve, some in Alentejo and north of Portugal, one in Marbella Spain and one in the Tetra mountains at a place called Zakopane in Poland – its going to be Awesome.
This year has given us so much and we couldn’t have done it without the help from our friends and mentors Kerry & Luis from Piteira Photography (piteiraphotography.com) You are a huge inspiration for us and a big reason we had the courage to to do this. You guys are the best.
Thank you to our families for helping us get our lives together!
To all the people who follow our work, thank you for your support.
Thank you to the ladies at Algarve Wedding Planners (algarveweddingplanners.com) as well as the videographers at JM Audiovisual Productions (jmweddingcinematography.com) for recommending us.
And, most of all, thank you to our amazing couples for trusting us to document your wedding and allowing us to do what we love to do. We wish you all much love and happiness in your new lives together.
Please join us as we share some of our favourite moments of 2013
