Mallory and Shamir had a week full of wedding celebration, in Lisbon and in the Algarve. They fell in love with Portugal one year while on holiday, the culture and the amazing coastal views, and wanted to share all the country had to offer with family and friends by inviting them for an epic adventure to Portugal for their destination wedding.
In the Algarve they held a welcome party at Palacio De Estoi, a historical palace in the heart of the Algarve, and the wedding day at Os Agostos, a converted olive press farm nestled in the hills of Loule.

. . . the morning of the wedding day.
It was an interfaith ceremony, with a ring warming ceremony where each guest blessed the wedding bands. They included an Ismaili tradition, Koba Kobi, where they raced to find the wedding bands in a bowl of rice, meant to encourage a life of happiness, laughter and fun. They closed the ceremony with the Sapatia tradition, where stepping on and breaking clay pots filled with symbols of health, happiness and love, wards off evil spirits with the myth that the spouse to break it first rules the household.
It was a tie!
